Who are Celsiorex Miniature American Shepherds?
Hi, I’m Maddie! I’m the owner behind Celsiorex. I first fell in love with the breed in 2014, whilst searching for my next dog. I was initially looking into Australian Shepherds, but wanted something a little bit smaller. I came across Miniature Australian Shepherds as they were then known, and instantly fell in love. I’ve watched the breed grow in popularity over the past decade, and I’ve only fallen more in love with them. I love their looks, their versatility, and suitability as all-round active family dogs.
I’m a full-time pet photographer, and spend my spare time travelling, as well as training and competing in agility.

Our approach:
My goal as a breeder is fairly simple: I want to produce dogs that are as healthy as possible, stable and solid in temperament, and versatile all-rounders that enjoy whatever is asked of them. Structure is also a priority, I want dogs that are balanced and in line with the breed standard.
My priority at the moment is genetic diversity. 90% of the dogs in Europe are from the same kennels and have many of the same dogs not too far back in their pedigrees. If we want the breed to continue to develop, we need new blood. That’s why I am open to also producing Miniature Australian Shepherds. The only difference is that these puppies wouldn’t be eligible to be registered with the AKC, but would be on our KC Activity register and ASDR (American Stock Dog Registry), at least until our KC decide what they would like to do with the breed.
All of our breeding dogs are fully health tested, this includes DNA testing for genetic conditions, as well as hip and elbow scoring. We only breed from dogs with fantastic temperaments, as we aim to produce puppies that can succeed in all walks of life.
Puppies will be raised with Puppy Culture in the centre of our home, with the aim to produce happy, confident puppies.
